GATE is a program for students determined to be academically talented. At Hamilton, these students are clustered together at each grade level in a class with a GATE certified teacher in order to provide them with instruction that is challenging, engaging, and allows them to academically excel. Students are tested for the GATE Program at the end second or fifth grade or by teacher or parent request. GATE-identified 3rd-5th graders have the option to participate in th extra-curricular GATE Club.
